Open borders in Europe – especially so in Eurode
The Eurode partnership is primarily aimed at promoting cross-border economic cooperation and at realising initiatives which provide added value to the population as a whole. But in the same context too, furthering social and cultural cross-border cooperation is an equally important aspect. The Eurode 2000+ foundation focuses its efforts primarily on community-wide cultural activities and events, as well as fostering and maintaining geographical and historical learning about the Land van Rode. Eurode is keen to legitimise its identity and its self-evident raison d’être along the German-Dutch border, as well as on the internal and external borders of the European Union.
